Why Heavenly Hammocks
Made the slow way, built for years of lazy afternoons
Every hammock and chair is made by hand in our Johannesburg workshop. No mass production, just good materials and decades of practice.
- Hand crush-dyed colourOur dyeing technique gives each piece a soft two-tone, mottled finish, so no two are exactly alike.
- Canvas that won’t stretch100% pure cotton, tightly woven box-weave canvas: cool, comfortable and strong.
- Steel thimbles at every endThey stop the ropes loosening from friction against the hook, a small detail that adds years.
